Ahhhhh I’ve clung to the goodness and truth in that quote for over a year as I journeyed through the year long trial of marital problems, a separation, the process of a divorce! Then, on this day, celebrated and marveled in the truth of that phrase when my husband and I recommitted our marriage to our Father, God on September 28th, 2015!

I dreamt about this day of reconciliation time + time again while separated from Tony! I was so certain God’s promise of redemption in our relationship was true, that I planned my wedding out 25+ times! I bought dresses based on seasons so I would be prepared. Then I humbly returned them as the seasons passed me by. I continued this journey with God and documented the vulnerable + crazy process through video diaries, a journal, and pictures. I have the evidence of following God, His word, and His sovereign leading through a series of unfortunate, turbulent, and hard events! He is always good. This is my proof. I am currently living in the promise of a redeemed marriage. I do love it : )

This is by far one of the most cherished days of my entire life! God’s redemption and goodness hung in the air like a blanket of peace. Abba…You have been victorious in our lives! Thank you for walking us through this process, providing direction, love, understanding, and new eyes for one another. Thank you for the gift of second-chance, new life, and true love. You are such a good father. Thank you, for providing the most redemptive day of my life!
